Kyle received his mission call on December 20 2012. We went to Garbonzos and the place was packed with family and friends. He opened the envelope and he was called to Philippines, Tacloban mission. He was so excited!! He told me when he was in second grade that he thought he would go to Southeast Asia on his mission. Kyle loves strange food and he had just studied that region and knew it would be a great fit for him. So it was not really a huge surprise for us. The big surprise was that he needed to report to the MTC in 40 days!!
